Nestled on the banks of the Paluxy River in historic Glen Rose, Texas, the Inn on the River is a 102-year-old Texas Historic Landmark that offers the perfect peaceful retreat for our family Thanksgiving gathering.
Built in 1919 and beautifully restored, this 22-room boutique hotel is a Texas Registered Historic Landmark that was originally part of the early 1900s Snyder Sanitarium. It sits on over an acre of landscaped grounds shaded by majestic live oaks right on the banks of the Paluxy River.
Pam owns and runs the Inn and lives on site. The gentle sound of the river, birds, and the peaceful setting make it the perfect place for our family to slow down and create Thanksgiving memories together.
